Murder She Didn’t Write

It’s ‘just’ a set of stood up boxes.

Never is it a ‘just’ …
This is a new revamped set for ‘Murder She Didn’t Write’ which saw an ingenious design by Justin Williams.  As with any show based around improvisation, the setting could potentially be different at every show and also needs to be flexible to the differing sizes of stages they are working on- from the tiniest old Salvation Army hall at Chipping Norton theatre to the vastness of the Duchess theatre in Town

Panels, or boxes, are used ingeniously to depict varying locations, and is typical in feel to a murder mystery – they set the scene remarkably well with lush wallpapers, warm paint colours, gothic arches and book cases all bought to life with beautiful scenic painting and finishing in our workshops.
